Mediaocean taps John Malysiak, Perianne Grignon to boost omnichannel competencies

Mediaocean, the mission-critical platform for omnichannel advertising, has announced the appointment of John Malysiak and Perianne Grignon to boost the company’s leadership and expertise in omnichannel and cross-platform solutions.

Malysiak has been appointed to SVP of Cross-Platform Solutions, where he will ensure that product integrations and client innovations continue to be adopted. Malysiak joins Mediaocean with extensive experience leading global data strategy, campaign activation, and measurement agendas for leading consumer brands. He was previously the U.S. Managing Director of Influencer Media at Omnicom Media Group. He held the positions of worldwide head of innovation for SC Johnson, OMD US head of digital activation, and Accuen managing director throughout his 15-year tenure at OMG. Malysiak will be responsible for increasing client acceptance of global and cross-platform integration throughout Mediaocean’s array of omnichannel solutions in his new role as SVP of Cross-Platform Solutions. Within the commercial organization, Malysiak will report to Grant Parker, Chief Revenue Officer.

Similarly, Grignon is expected to drive Mediaocean’s core systems strategy for agency partners, including buyer workflow, global plans, and media finance, as Vice President of Strategy for Agency Solutions. Grignon’s responsibilities as the new VP of Strategy at Mediaocean will include directing go-to-market execution for agency solutions. Perianne most recently co-led client engagements at Media Plus Advisors, where she oversaw media performance, vendor agreements, and consulting services to help businesses enhance their media and marketing operations.

She rings to the jo experienced garnered from Accenture and Sears Holdings, where she led media strategy and digital innovation for over a decade. Grignon will report to SVP Strategy John Mruz at Mediaocean, and will use her experience in multichannel marketing innovation and client leadership to help agencies realize the core system value proposition.
