MediaCraft deploys strategies to bounce back to profitability
In a bid to reposition itself amongst the top Public Relations agencies in Nigeria, MediaCraft Associates has outlined ways through which it hopes to bounce back to profitability in 2018.
The agency said it had gotten out of its trying period and was recovering gradually to a state of profitability.
Managing Director of the agency, Mr. John Ehiguese, said the 14-year old agency had seen it all, stressing that there was a new re-engineering within the agency that would take it to the top in the industry within the shortest possible time.
Ehiguese pointed out that the management of the PR firm was taking a second look at the business in terms of what kind of clients it wants to focus on and how it will operate.
“We obviously took a bit of the heat with the recession, it affected us somewhat; but the good news is that we have gotten out of it and we are recovering slowly”, he said adding, “Even as we recover, we are taking a second look at the business and we are re-engineering the business in terms of what kind of clients that we want to focus on and how we want to operate”.
The MediaCraft boss enumerated some of the ways of repositioning the agency to include reviewing its processes, its structure, and its marketing business development strategies in terms of what kind of clients that the agency needs to target, going forward.
According to him, with the aforementioned in place, MediaCraft Associates would take advantage of the emerging opportunities in the Integrated Marketing Communications industry in the country.
“Like I said, there is a serious re-engineering and a re-orientation even of the ethical framework of the organization so that we can be better prepared to do better. I feel very hopeful that we will do a lot better in 2018, we are in a trajectory of sustainable growth”, Ehiguese affirmed.
