Maureen Omi Ifada appointed Marketing Director at FrieslandCampina WAMCO

Maureen Omi Ifada has been appointed as the new Marketing Director Sub-Saharan Africa Cluster at FrieslandCampina WAMCO, Nigeria’s leading dairy company, bringing nearly two decades of diverse experience in marketing and brand management to her new role.
Her journey at FrieslandCampina began over a decade ago, where she held various positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, she served as the Head of Channel & Category Development for Sub-Saharan Africa. In this role, she spearheaded the conceptualization and drafting of overall channel and category strategies, fostered strategic partnerships to drive retail conversion, and translated brand plans into winning channel initiatives to enhance product presence across all channels.
Throughout her tenure at FrieslandCampina, Maureen demonstrated her ability to develop and implement fully integrated marketing strategies aligned with consumer needs and market trends. Her efforts consistently translated into volume growth, increased penetration, and sustainable profit for the company.
Maureen’s academic background includes a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the Edinburgh Business School (UK) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University.
As Marketing Director, she will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies and initiatives for FrieslandCampina’s products, ensuring continued market leadership and consumer satisfaction.
