Martell Cognac launches global campaign in Nigeria
Martell Cognac, the world’s number one Prestige cognac, has launched its global #BeCurious campaign in Nigeria and it features brand ambassador and Nigerian rapper, MI Abaga explaining how curiosity took him to the top of his career.
Last month, Martell debuted its first radio entertainment show called ‘A Curious Case with Martell Cognac’ which is hosted by ‘The Martell Cartel’ made up of Cool FM’s OAP Do2tun, Ayo Rotimi and Publisher of Mystreetz Magazine and executive producer of Mystreetz TV, Sesan Adeniji.
The 45 minutes show is focused on putting together music industry thought leaders and opinion makers in a bid to discover what lies behind the scenes.
Founded in 1715 by Jean Martell who was originally from Jersey, Martell is part of the Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët subsidiary of the French wines and spirits group, Pernod-Ricard.
Over centuries, Martell’s fame has spread throughout the world, with the first exports to Japan and other Asian markets, such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Korea. The company’s most famous product is Cordon Bleu which was created in 1912.
