LIA extends 25% entry discount window to April 30
London International Awards (LIA) has extended the 25% discount window for entries for the 2021 awards to 30 April, 2021, due to unprecedented demand and the need to cushion the effect of the present global economic realities.
Calling for entries from companies and individuals, LIA also noted that it does not charge late fees. It would be recalled that the deadline for the discount was originally 1 April 2021.
While announcing the discount, Barbara Levy, President of LIA had said, “At a time when most awards are continuing with late fees, we have decided to help the industry that supports us as much as we can by heavily discounting our entry fees. This is a time to work together to ensure recognition of the great creativity that our industry produces. For 2021, this is our key motivation.”
Commenting on the reason for LIA’s decision to extend the entry discounts window,Patricia Censoprano, Senior Vice President (PR&Marketing),LIA noted that the global economic realities facing companies around the world and especially in Africa necessitated the slash in entry fees.
Her words: “LIA is still offering a 25% discount for entries through April. I know that things are rough everywhere but especially in Africa, we’re hoping this discount will help companies enter and have their amazing work awarded”.
Barbara Levy, President of LIA explained further, “These are not normal times. As an awards show, we want to support the industry and consultancies in whatever way we can. As they say, the show must go on. So, we want to give the creative community a platform to showcase how ideas, innovations and businesses have triumphed in days of adversity.”
