Corporate, personal brand management takes centre stage at NIPR AGM

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has concluded plans to hold its 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM)/ the grand finale, and citizens’ summit on national integration.
The event will be hybrid and will have the theme, “Personal Corporate Brand Management”. The physical event will be held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja from Monday 22nd to Thursday 25th August, 2022.
Agenda for the event is to read the notice convening the meeting, to receive the president’s report, to receive the audited account for the year ended December 31, 2021, to authorise the Governing Council to fix the remuneration of the auditors and to transact any other business.
According to a notice signed by Kayode Yeku, secretary to council, certified members are expected to be up-to-date in their annual subscriptions till the year 2020, to be eligible to participate in the AGM, and registration is compulsory.
Also, all eligible members are required to pre-register ahead of the AGM date as there will be no registration at the venue.
In the earlier statement by NIPR president Mukhhtar Zubairu sirajo, the summit is aimed at providing a credible platform for Nigerians to come together and reopen the conversation with a view to strengthening national cohesion, peace building and reconciliation.
“The initiative is to bridge the trust gap that has been allowed to fester and widen, while at the same time making us to look at and deploy the diversity with which Nigeria is endowed towards more positive endeavours,” Sirajo he noted.
