Berger Paints appoints new non-executive director
Berger Paints Nigeria Plc has announced that Mrs. Ogechi U. Iheanacho has replaced Engineer Patrick Buruche, whose tenure ended December 31, 2020, as Non-Executive Director.
The announcement was made through a press release signed by the company’s secretary and legal adviser, Ayokunle Ayoko.
Expressing the company’s appreciation to Buruche, the statement noted: “The Board remains appreciative of his contributions to the Company for the entirety of his tenure.”
Iheanacho, whose appointment took effect on January 2, 2021, has served in financial and legal positions for Discount House Limited (now Coronation Merchant Bank Ltd) and Fidelity Bank Plc. She currently serves on the boards of Harmony Trust & Investment Company Limited and Regal Investments Company Limited as a director.
The University of Westminster, London and the University of London (University College London) alumna belongs to reputable professional organisations such as the Nigerian Bar Association, the Chartered Governance Institute, UK and World Commerce and Contracting (formerly International Association for Contract and Commercial Management).
