Airtel Touching Lives kicks off Season 7, calls for nomination

In a consistent bid to restore hope, give succour and put smiles on the faces of individuals and communities, Airtel Touching Lives, an initiative from the leading telecommunications company, Airtel Nigeria, has been flagged off in its 7th edition and as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Announcing this year’s edition during a press briefing that was held at the Southern Sun hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos, C. Surendran, the Chief Executive Officer of Airtel, said Season 7 of the life-changing initiative is aimed at promoting digital accessibility and inclusion in education. He added that it has been officially opened for nomination.
According to the CEO, Airtel CSR revolves around three pillars which are financial inclusion for the under-banked, un-banked and provision of quality and accessible education to better the lives of under-the-counter in communities.
“In the past six years, Airtel Touching Lives has been well received by various communities. The initiative focuses on life transforming projects, which have a positive direct impact on individuals, families and communities. This year focuses on digital inclusion to provide digital access to children in schools and enhance educational learning in communities.”
Airtel noted that the strategic move is geared towards putting smiles on the faces of communities, and urged people to nominate a community whom they think deserves Airtel Touching Lives by calling or sending an sms to 367.
