Oshinlaja appointed as Chief Commercial Officer of Airtel Nigeria

Airtel Nigeria, one of the leading telecommunications companies in the country, has announced the appointment of Oluwafemi Oshinlaja as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
The appointment which took effect from May 1, 2023, marked a significant milestone for the newly appointed CCO.
In an official statement, Airtel Nigeria expressed their delight in welcoming Oluwafemi Oshinlaja to the role. The company recognized his impressive track record in leadership, citing his over 20 years of experience in various regional and national sales groups. Oshinlaja had previously served as Airtel Nigeria’s Regional Operations Director for Lagos, demonstrating his strong leadership abilities.
Prior to assuming the position of Chief Commercial Officer, Oshinlaja held the role of Director, Home Broadband, and also served as the Acting Chief Commercial Officer between November 2022 and May 2023. This interim period allowed him to showcase his skills and prove his ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities.
As the newly appointed Chief Commercial Officer, Oshinlaja will take charge of the entire Commercial function at Airtel Nigeria. This encompasses product development, sales, commercial partnerships, and brand activities across all of the company’s operations. His extensive experience in operations and commercial strategies management is expected to contribute significantly to the success of the organization.
Oshinlaja’s combined expertise in directing multiple initiatives simultaneously, coupled with his strong time management and prioritization skills, will also make him a valuable addition to the telco’s leadership team. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated an ability to influence, engage, and motivate highly talented individuals.
