Stanbic IBTC honoured for CSR
Ascend Hotels Limited, in conjunction with Rainbow Entertainment, has recognised and honoured Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc with an Outstanding Community Service Award, coming from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) category.
According to Ascend Hotels, the award is its unique way of rewarding hard work, excellence and meritorious contributions to the development of Olambe Community in Ogun State, and the Nigerian society at large.
The essence of the award is to recognise and reward brands and personalities who have positively impacted the society with their activities.
Appreciating the award, Chief Executive, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Wole Adeniyi, confirmed that the bank is happy to be enjoying all the goodwill as a result of the organisation’s various corporate social responsibility initiatives which is a testament of the hard work they have put in supporting the underserved within the communities they operate.
The Chief Executive also reiterated that apart from the bank fulfilling its core business objectives, it also strongly believes in giving back to its host communities where it operates to create an enabling environment in the society continually.
“Through our Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiative, which is hinged on three major pillars, namely: Education, Health and Economic Empowerment, we consistently reach out to underserved communities and provide the assistance required to make the society a better place,” Adeniyi added.
