SIFAX Haulage, Corporate Affairs Manager win awards
SIFAX Haulage and Logistics Limited one of the subsidiaries of SIFAX Group and Olumuyiwa Akande, Corporate Affairs and Communications Manager, SIFAX Group have won two awards at the 6th edition of the Nigeria Transport Awards held in Lagos recently.
SIFAX Haulage and Logistics Limited won the Haulage & Logistics Company of the Year for its excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction, while Olumuyiwa Akande emerged as the Spokesperson of the Year (Maritime).
According to Mr. Frank Kintum, Editor-in-Chief, Transport Day Newspaper, organizers of the event, the choice of SIFAX Haulage was not farfetched owing to its excellent and efficient service delivery as well as unrivalled innovative customer-centric solutions in the haulage and logistics sector. He also noted that the SIFAX Group brand has enjoyed improved visibility in the industry and beyond, thanks to the energetic drive and strategic communication approach of Mr. Olumuyiwa Akande.
While responding on behalf of SIFAX Haulage, the company’s General Manager, Mr. Adewale Adetayo, said the award was a validation of the hard work and innovation that the company’s management team and staff have put in over the last one year.
He said: “The Company has worked assiduously over the years to build a haulage company that is reliable, efficient and customer-focused. Our driving force is the desire to surpass the expectations of our clients, no matter how high they are.”
On his own part, Mr. Olumuyiwa Akande, while appreciating the organizers for the award, maintained that he and his team would strive to maintain the high standards that they have set for themselves in positioning the SIFAX Group’s brand as one of the leading business brands in the country and beyond.
The Nigeria Transport Awards is an annual event designed to reward deserving companies and individuals that have shown diligence, innovation and excellence in the country’s logistics industry.
