Seni Adetu, Algorithm Media boss to deliver keynote speech at NIMN Fellows’ night
Seni Adetu, Chief Executive Officer of the Algorithm Media Limited and Ogilvy Nigeria Limited, will deliver a keynote speech at the forthcoming National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) 2020 Fellows’ Dinner and Award night.
The event is scheduled to hold on February 19, 2020, at Radisson Blu Hotel, located on Isaac John Street, Ikeja, Lagos State.
The theme of the event is “The Future of Marketing in a Technology Driven World” and would have Adetu speak on the future of marketing for professionals in an industry where current trends in marketing are informed and impacted by technology.
The event offers a platform for members and non-members of NIMN to gain new insight on current trends in marketing, network, share knowledge, and socialise with professional colleagues.
Participating members of NIMN, according to the organisers, are required to pay N25, 000, while non-participating members are to pay N30, 000.
Adetu is a Nigerian businessperson who founded Algorithm Media Ltd. and has been at the helm of 5 different companies. He is also on the board of Fidelity Bank Plc.
Having bagged an undergraduate degree and an MBA from the University of Lagos, Adetu, in the past, occupied the position of Executive Chairman of Diageo Brands Nigeria Ltd., Executive Chairman, Chief Executive Officer & MD at Guinness Ghana Breweries Ltd., Chief Executive Officer, Director & MD at Guinness Nigeria Plc, CEO, Executive Director & Group Managing Director at East African Breweries Ltd. and Commercial Director at Nigerian Bottling Co. Ltd.
NIMN, on the other hand, is a professional body of marketing practitioners, sales and marketing directors, customer relationship managers, media planners, channel developers, creative directors, value builders, trade marketing managers, commercial managers/directors and brand builders. Others include entrepreneurs, enterprise builders, corporate and institutional governors, transformers, marketing and mass communication experts, general managers and chief executive officers.
The institute is saddled with the responsibility to regulate and standardise marketing professional practice through the conduct of comprehensive professional examinations and certifications, training, retraining and consultancy services geared towards ensuring that members adopt professional approach to marketing and other related areas of marketing activities.
