Noah’s Ark Lands Another Major Account
In continuation of its impressive performance in 2016, Noah’s Ark has again landed another major business recently. The agency was named the winner of the highly coveted Heritage bank creative pitch after a strings of intense presentation and several months of waiting on the bank to declare a winner.
Noah’s Ark was picked ahead of other contestants, at the end of a highly competitive pitch process that brought the agency in collision course with several top advertising shops, including DDB Lagos, Centrespread, Brandzone Consulting, Prima Garnet Africa, The Think Shop, Hormonee, SO&U et al.
As at the time of filling this report, it was not clear how much the account was worth, but sources noted that it is a huge account, that will reinforce Noah’s Arks reputation as Nigeria’s fastest growing advertising agency.
According to reports, the pitch process for the Heritage bank business was concluded long ago, but the financial institution which is the youngest bank in Nigeria kept the contestants waiting since March 2016, until recently when they announced Noah’s Ark as their preferred agency.
Not less than eight agencies were part of the process in October 2015, but when the final pitch held about four months ago, only three of them were still standing. They included Sam Osunsoko’s The Think Shop and Kola Ayanwale’s Centrespread and the eventual winner Lanre Adisa’s Noah’s Ark. Others fell by the roadside.
Recall that at the beginning of the year Noah’s Ark won a couple of other major accounts including AIICO Insurance, Nigerite Limited, Society for Family Health. The Society for Family Health account is a major victory for the agency because it a huge business that involves creative, media and digital businesses.
With the Heritage bank job now in its kitty, the Maryland based agency will now be responsible for the bank new strategic plans that would involve exploring capital market, brand expansion, and the bank’s ambitious top 5 target in the next 10 years.
With this new addition, Noah’s Ark can now boast of a wide range of brands on its portfolio, covering FMCG, Telecoms, Banks, Insurance, Building and construction, health and pharmacy etc.
