The 2021 edition of the award ceremony, witnessed by the Lagos State Governor and his entourage, has further set the Nigeria’s leading advertising magazine on the centre stage of the country’s IMC industry for further traction and strategic positioning.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, who was honored as the Outstanding Political Brand Icon of the Year, while expressing gratitude to the organisers of the award ceremony, applauded the impressive turnout for the event. He stated that MARKETING EDGE, Nigeria’s leading marketing and advertising magazine, is making history in Lagos, the commercial capital of Nigeria.

His words: “During the trying days of our stay in office, I benefited immensely from the strategic counsel of members of your trade who work with me internally and those who provide strategic counsel to me externally. Let me promise you one thing today, I have become the Marketing Ambassador of your profession amongst my colleagues in the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF), and indeed to our government at the national level. We all need your craft.”
