MIPAN set to launch maiden edition of MIPAN Award

Femi Adelusi, the President of Media Independent Practitioner Association of Nigeria (MIPAN), has announced the association’s readiness to hold the maiden edition of its Awards later this year.
He made this known during the just concluded DStv-MIPAN annual workshop, while giving a closing remark at the event.
Mr. Adelusi added that the essence of the award is to reward and inspire the hard work of content creators and media partners as some awards in the past didn’t focus on them.
He said: “Let me use this opportunity to announce something new at MIPAN; our maiden award edition will be held this year.
“For us at MIPAN, the idea behind this award is to recognize the inspiring work of content producers and media pattern ideas behind them. We did a lot of awards that probably didn’t recognize the value and importance of content creation. But this is the area that we are going to be focusing on.”
In a separate development, Eki Aduzey, the Executive Secretary of MIPAN, told MARKETING EDGE in an interview that MIPAN as an association is a force to reckon with.
He said: “MIPAN is a formidable association and becoming a member of MIPAN is now a necessity. MIPAN is showing that we can do great things and that we are expanding. We were like the smallest of the associations in the IMC industry, but today we are a force to reckon with.”
