Meet MARKETING EDGE panelist @ IMC Quarterly Virtual Summit – Lekan Fadolapo
Dr. Lekan Fadolapo is the Registrar/CEO, Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria(APCON). Prior to his present position, he was the Executive Director, Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria(AAAN).
With over two decades’ experience in the advertising industry, many have described his appointment as the helmsman at the advertising regulatory body as deserving.
Fadolapo who hails from Esie in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, was born in Lagos. He attended Birch Freeman High School, Surulere, Lagos for his O’Level. He proceeded to Ogun State University for his first degree in Economics.
This iconic industry leader holds three Masters degrees: M.SC. in Marketing, Master in Business Administration (MBA), and Master in Legal Studies (MILS) from Babcock University, llisan, Ogun State, the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State and Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos State, respectively.
He caps all of these up with a Ph.D. in Marketing with specialisation in Marketing Communications from Babcock University, Illisan Remo, Ogun State. Dr. Fadolapo is a Registered Advertising Practitioner, a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of ICAN. He was a member of the immediate past Governing Council of APCON and also served in several capacities within the Council and other bodies in the Nigerian advertising industry.
