Folake Ani-Mumuney, seasoned marketer and communicator, is Global Head, Marketing & Corporate Communications at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd. Before joining First Bank, she worked at Dangote Industries Limited as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.
Earlier in her career, she was at British Airways, where she was responsible for Brands policies and communications across the Europe and Africa region, made up of 59 countries. She covered many regions in her time with British Airways and she held positions such as Business Analyst, Strategy & Business Planning Manager, New Business Development Manager and Head Marketing & Communications Manager, Africa.
Mrs. Ani-Mumuney has several management certificates to her credit and she is a member of many professional associations. She also has degrees in Philosophy and Law and a diploma in Business Computing Systems Analysis and Design.
She is a versatile professional much sought after by A-rated multinationals because of her intellectual prowess and entrepreneurial sagacity. She is the President of Advertisers Association of Nigeria, ADVAN, the umbrella association for all advertisers (Corporate organisations that engage in major advertising) in Nigeria.
