We must show them the true essence of love, so my advice to everyone is to support women at all times and that is what we do at MARKETING EDGE.”
Mojisola Daniels-Matesun, General Manager, Strategy and Business Development, said: “Today being International Women’s Day, I feel so proud to be a woman and I support the fight against gender inequity, because looking at the world today, we can see that we have more women at the helms of affairs. We are strong, we are bold and we are confident.”
She mentioned that Mr. Ajayi has been so supportive by giving the women in his business opportunities he gives to his male staff. “As for my boss, Mr. John Ajayi, he has always been so supportive of the female gender in his organization and I really appreciate him for that.”
Oyindamola Are, Project Manager of MEDIA EDGE, said: “I feel good celebrating IWD with my colleagues at work, and for me, it’s not just about the celebration, it’s about supporting women, breaking the bias by giving them equal opportunity in the corporate environment, in their homes, and the society at large.”
On her part, Felicia Okeke, a MARKETING EDGE staff, said: “Women should believe that there is no difference between them and men. In the 21st century, women should go all out to achieve what they believe in. For me as a woman, I don’t think we are in competition with the men. I believe in the quote which says, ‘what a man can do, a woman can do’. I do not support the saying that ‘women can do better, because we are all gifted differently.”
