Marketing Edge hosts TVC’s Ronan Redmond on Instagram live chat
MARKETING EDGE, Nigeria’s leading and award winning brands and advertising-focused, multi-channel media platform will, on Monday, June 15, host Ronan Redmond, the Commercial Director and Chief Revenue Officer of TVC Communications on its high profile personality Instagram live chat, a thought leadership initiative that runs thrice weekly.
The industry conversation with Redmond, which would go live at 12 noon, would focus on the Theme: “Navigating the Media Market for Profitability in the Age of New Normal”. Among other things, the chat would avail brand owners, agencies and the media (especially traditional) insights into how the mutually dependent stakeholders could understand, collaborate and profitably co-navigate the new ecosystem, which the COVID-19 pandemic has foisted on the world.
With his experience and exposure to various markets across the globe, the TVC boss’ appearance on the live chat promises to be very engaging and enlightening.
Ronan Redmond hails from Dublin City in Ireland with a background that has always been in international media, advertising and marketing. He has worked for a number of broadcasters, both TV and Radio, holding commercial portfolios with his role having always been about helping media companies to maximise their commercial revenues through selling advertising, sponsorships, promotions and all other revenue opportunities. He has also worked for some advertising agencies in London like MindShare, among others. He came to Lagos in 2017 to join the newly appointed CEO of the broadcast media organisation, Andrew Hanlon to turn the organisation around for good.
Since he joined TVC 1n 2017, Redmond has taken the TVC brand to the door steps of brand owners and major stakeholders in the competitive Nigerian marketing and advertising landscape, with resultant positive effects that reverberate through the industry and the larger society.
TVC Communications is a leading media organisation established in 2007, with its headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. Since its establishment, the company, which encompasses TVC News, TVC Entertainment, Max FM and Adaba FM, has succeeded in reshaping the social and public perception of Africans on news, entertainment and broadcasting across the country.
The year 2017 will go down in the annals of the history of this highly rated media company as an epoch given the fact that it was the year its management was overhauled and its business model re-jigged.
These developments saw the coming on board of Andrew Hanlon as the company’s Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer with Ronan Redmond joining later as Commercial Director. Very crucial decisions were also taken which, among other things, included resting TVC News Africa and Radio Continental with the latter metamorphosing into MAX 102.5 FM.
In less than 15 months after these developments, an amazing turnaround took place at TVC Communications with constantly increasing impacts that are self-evident and results that are stunning.
