MARKETING EDGE activates Christmas mood at St. Monica Orphanage

In its effort to sustain the excitement and increase the momentum of its long aged tradition of giving love, succour, and hope to the less-privileged, Nigeria’s foremost advertising and brand focused magazine, MARKETING EDGE has, once again, activated the mood of Christmas at St. Monica Orphanage Home, Iju Ishaga, Lagos State.
This is in fulfillment of MARKETING EDGE Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which demonstrates that the leading publication’s vision and mission go beyond just the brand idea, but identifying with its host community and state.
The visit to the orphanage home was led by Amos Oladele, the Chief Operating Officer of MARKETING EDGE, in the company of Mojisola Matesun, Account Director, Ogechi Odigbo, Deputy General Manager (Marketing), and other members of staff.
The foremost advertising and marketing publication outfit lightened up the season with various gift items as supports from leading brands who shared the same vision and service to humanity.
Championing the life-changing initiative with amazing product supports are leading brands such as Hayat Kimya, supported with many packs of its flagship products, Molfix Diapers, while the 7UP Bottling Company supported the service-oriented cause with its products.
Also, The La Casera Company registered its colourful presence with several packs of its assorted drinks, such as Smoov, Bold and its flagship apple brand, La Casera Apple. Kelloggs was well represented with many cartons of its iconic corn flakes brands and McVitie’s supported with cartons of its delicious legendary biscuit, while delicious and yummy Eat’N’Go, a franchisee of Domino’s Pizza, supported by donating packs of pizza and Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream. There were also other items such as bags of rice and sanitary products.
The array of Christmas gift items were presented to Reverend Sister There’se’ Marie EHJ, Sister In charge of St. Monica Orphanage Home.
Rev. Sister Marie, while receiving the items, expressed gratitude on behalf of the orphanage and the children. She averred that, service to humanity is the greatest of all.
“Words cannot express our heartfelt gratitude to you. Thank you so very much. We are grateful. We pray that as you reach out to the less privileged, God will bless, replenish and take care of you, especially at the end of your life, He will say, you did this to the least of my brethren,” she noted.
Commenting on behalf of the team, Mr. Oladele stated that the visitation is an annual project and initiative by the MARKETING EDGE Group in accordance with its CSR initiative, supported by its various clients. The initiative, which is in its 7th year, is geared towards life-changing causes.
“Each year, we mobilise clients, make our own corporate contributions to also be a blessing to various orphanages. This is an annual project that has earned the support of these leading brands that believe and share the same vision with us. On behalf of MARKETING EDGE, and all the brands represented here, we want to say merry Christmas to all the children, the entire management, staff and caregivers of this home. We express our sincere appreciation to your vision and service to humanity,” Mr. Oladele said.
