LIA notifies MARKETING EDGE’s nominees for LIAison’s mentorship

Global award ranking agency, London International Awards(LIA) has notified and invited two young Nigerian creatives –Mmesoma Obi and Mcdonald Iheme, on their acceptance as nominees for the forthcoming LIA 2021 young creative LIAison’s mentorship programme.
In a congratulatory message to the two lucky young Nigerian creatives made available to MARKETING EDGE, LIA noted that in addition to the privilege of mentoring by outstanding and experienced creatives, the programme will also afford the young creatives the exclusive opportunity to virtually observe statue discussions during the LIA in October this year.
“Congratulations! You have been selected to participate in LIA’s 2021 Virtual Creative LIAison’s coaching programme. You will have the opportunity to virtually interact with three coaches from around the globe receiving one-hour mentor sessions with each of them. The sessions are private and bespoke to help develop your skills by covering all disciplines in the industry, providing you with the opportunity to learn and grow from some of the most experienced people working in our industry and related industries today”. The statement noted.
LIA also noted that the young creative mentees will have access to Creative Hacks webinars by Bernado Romero, Associate Partner and CCO of the Bloc, New York. The webinars will teach them how to create ideas from scratch and learn the different tools that industry veterans like Tim Jones, Renata Florio and Shaheed Peera use on a daily basis as a foundation to their success”. The statement added.
Recall that the creative duo of Obi and Iheme were recently nominated by MARKETING EDGE as mentees in this year’s Young creative LIAison’s mentorship programme. The nomination was in recognition and strategic partnership of LIA with the foremost marketing & advertising publication in Nigeria.
LIA noted that this year’s Creative LIAisions will match young creatives who will be under the tutelage and mentorship of three coaches. The mentees will spend a minimum of 1 hour with each coach who will mentor to help development, discuss how to work and navigate in these virtual times and establish future directions.
According to LIA, since the inception of Creative LIAisons in 2012, over 700 young creatives have had the opportunity to participate in this programme. The creative LIAisions is designed to develop, educate, inspire and grow young creative talent across the world.
Meanwhile, LIA has commended MARKETING EDGE, Nigeria’s leading marketing & advertising publications, for midwifing a thorough, seamless and successful nomination process for the West-African sub-region.
