Above quote by renowned management expert, Peter Drucker, aptly accentuates the professional and entrepreneurial accomplishments of Patrick McMichael, the quintessential MD/CEO of Eat’N’Go, a leading Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) in the country.
McMichael joined Domino’s Pizza Australia in Sydney as a manager in training in 1990. He did so well that he was awarded Rookie Manager of the Year the following year (1991), and was promoted to Area Supervisor in Sydney in 1992.
In 1995, Patrick became the National Property Manager of Domino’s Pizza Australia, and was a franchisee owner of 10 Domino’s Pizza stores in Australia between 1997 and 2005.
In his very inspiring professional and entrepreneurial career trajectory, McMichael was awarded Domino’s Pizza Australia Franchisee of the year in 1998 & 1999. He became Victorian Market Manager in 2005
McMichael was Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Leadership team New Concept Manager in 2006 and was appointed Domino’s Pizza International Business Consultant in 2008.
In 2010, he became Franchise Development Manager Australia & New Zealand and later appointed Chief Development & Franchising Officer Australia & New Zealand in 2012.
McMichael became Chief Executive Officer, Domino’s Pizza Indonesia in 2016.
He was appointed Chief Executive Officer, Eat’N’Go Limited, Nigeria in 2018.
As Chief Executive Officer, McMichael developed the strategic direction of the company in conjunction with the Leadership Team and Board of Directors. He manages the budget process and reporting; as well as the day to day operations of the company, working with the department heads and their individual teams.
Since becoming the company’s CEO, he has led Eat‘N’Go to enviable heights in Nigeria.
Significantly, the company hit the 100 outlets milestone last year and has since gone notches higher. Under McMichael’s watch, Eat ‘N’ Go has become an innovation-driven brand that has leveraged technology to deliver its offerings and services. Indeed, the disruption in the QSR space has left many asking about the face behind the mask of the creativity at Eat ‘N’ Go.
