Gage Awards concludes CoCreate 2022, fosters collaboration in Nigeria’s tech industry

The Gage Awards has concluded the 2022 edition of its CoCreate International Tech Exhibition, pooling together some of Africa’s biggest innovators across tech related solutions including Eskimi, Binance, Africa Data Centre, Adlantique, Senexpay, Kora, Trace Naija, Dochase, and MultiChoice amongst others in what could be tagged Nigeria’s largest tech convergence.
The event which celebrates the collaborative processes that help bring great ideas to life, hosted a massive turnout of tech gurus, exhibitors, government representatives including Director-General, National Information Technology Development Agency, Inuwa Kashifu Abdullahi; and Special Adviser for Innovation and Technology, Lagos State, Mr. Tubosun Alake, and some of the finest minds in Nigeria’s tech landscape at the Landmark event center in Lagos.
Buttressing the essence of collaboration in fostering the growth of Nigeria’s tech industry, Convener of the Gage Awards, Johnson Anorh who disclosed that the initiative was launched to help spark the kind of collaborations and energy needed in the tech space, explained: “The reason we launched tech hub is because, when people come together, they are able to come up with different components of tech that will serve as interesting solutions to our evident problems. With CoCreate 2022, we hope to have a system in place that will now spark up those interesting collaborations and innovations that will drive the growth of technology in Nigeria.”
Celebrating the “good of the web”, the 2-day expo served as a platform for brands to generate new leads, access thought leadership opportunities, deepen relationships with existing clients, and increase brand awareness with over 11 content tracks across Fintech, Edtech, Insurtech, Healthtech, Agritech, Crypto, and Retail.
The exhibition was launched ahead of the Gage Awards slated to hold Saturday 11th June 2022; it also featured a fireside chat with tech influencers, innovators, and policymakers to learn, share, and address critical issues in Nigeria’s technology industry.

Director-General, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, led the conversation on Technology, Regulations and Control, as well as products and policies within the Nigerian ecosystem.
