Nigeria’s leading fast-food franchise , Eat’N’Go has concluded its 10th anniversary celebrations as it rolls out fresh projections in terms of growth, expansion plans, innovations, and market penetration pan-Africa.
The celebrations featured moments of thrill and laughter as the corporate team walked guests and members of press down the memory lane of the past decade.
Speaking to MARKETING EDGE in an interview on some of the major wins and challenges of the past 10 years, CEO Eat’N’Go Limited, Patrick McMicheal explained that although there were different shocks that could naturally have crumbled most companies and altered their growth stories, Eat’N’Go is proudly standing and forging ahead.
He said: “The wins are that we are still here and we are still growing in 2022. Even in our worst times we are still growing, and that growth is coming because there is customer demand; customers like our products. We are a fun business. When things are good, we are there and it’s fun. When things are bad, we are there, and it’s fun. The customers are rewarding the good services provided by our teams across our different stores by allowing us to grow, and that is exciting for us.”
Eat’N’Go, the master franchisee for the Domino’s Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery, and Pinkberry Gourmet Frozen Yoghurt brands has remained resilient in its focus and commitment to continually deliver high-quality food and services to Nigerians.
Before the company stepped into Nigeria in 2012, the idea of pizza was still largely a foreign concept and a “treat for the rich”. However, since 2012, Eat’N’Go has now expanded to a total number of 190 outlets pan-Nigeria. The fast-food chain prides itself as a company that puts its customers first, as it sticks with values that favour its customers, localizes its menu, and also gives back to the community.
Patrick continued: “We have become more effective as an organisation; we use technology better. The bigger that we get, the more the ability we have to embrace more technology. We will continue to evolve our image and innovate our products at the same time, and as well expand across Nigeria. The business that we were in 2012, is not what we are this 2022, and it is definitely not what we will be in 2032.”
Eat’N’Go commenced operations in August 2012 with the opening of its Saka Tinubu store with the brands Domino’s Pizza and Cold Stone creamery, which received instant validation form the market. It has since expanded to several regions across the country, including Port Harcourt, Abuja, Enugu, Ilorin, Akure and Ibadan.
