Dr. Ken Onyeali Ikpe honoured as APCON Fellow

Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) has inducted Dr. Ken Onyeali Ikpe, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Insight Redefini, Sub-Saharan Africa as a Fellow of Advertising Professional in Nigeria at the recently concluded APCON induction ceremony.
The induction ceremony gathered high profile practitioners and veterans of the marketing communications community at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja Lagos.
The induction duly befits the marketing guru who has contributed over three decades of uncompromising professionalism to Nigeria’s integrated marketing communications industry.
Dr. Ikpe is a thought leader who is highly respected in the marketing communications industry. He leads by deepening what works, he embraces well-researched truth, new knowledge, and he builds capacity for loyalty amongst his constituents.
He is also one of the highly sought-after professionals by result-driven leaders as he is renowned for visionary business transformation leadership. With over two decades of building successful brands and transforming businesses, he is the go-to professional on leadership and policy implementation.
Dr. Ikpe joined Insight in 1995 as an Account Manager rising to the position of Account Director before he was moved to the then All Seasons Mediacom in 2001 as COO. He led All Seasons Mediacom creditably both as COO and later as CEO transforming it into one of Nigeria’s foremost media independent companies.
Upon the consummation of Troyka/Publicis Partnership and the formation of Insight Redefini in October 2016, he was promoted as its first Group COO. He is now the Group Chief Executive Officer of Insight Redefini, Sub-Saharan Africa’s.
Dr. Ikpe holds a doctorate in Development Economics, an Alumni of Advanced Management Programme (AMP) Lagos Business School and also trained at the IESE Business School, Barcelona, Spain.
He is a fellow of Nigeria Institute of Marketing (NIM); he was the past President of Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MIPAN).
Dr. Ikpe is known and respected as a visionary leader, with strong business acumen and is loved for his pragmatic view of politics.
