Coca-Cola’s Coke Studio Africa expands to new markets

Production of Coke Studio Africa Season 4 has commenced at Film Studios, in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, the capital of Kenya.

In this brand new season, six new countries have been included: Ivory Coast, Cameroon, DRC, Ghana, Senegal and Ethiopia; increasing the number of participating countries to 11. Also featuring for the first time will be Kiss Daniel and Patoranking from Nigeria, Bahati from Kenya, Navy Kenzo from Tanzania, Eddy Kenzo, Radio and Weasel from Uganda, Toofan from Togo and Haile Roots from Ethiopia, among others.

Notably present during this year’s edition are Africa’s crème de la crème music producers namely: Maphorisa, Madtraxx, MasterKraft, Bushingstone, Danny Synthe and Kill Beats.

Coke Studio Africa is a dynamic music fusion platform whereby musicians and music producers from different African markets are brought together to collaborate and produce great music, creating an amazing sound.

“For this season, we sought producers and partners who are able to tap into both their creativity and those of the artists to produce a world class show. This season promises more excitement as the territories have expanded and the number of artistes increased,” said Ahmed Rady, Coca-Cola Central, East and West Africa Business Unit Marketing Director Marketing Director.

“We look forward to an even better and more exciting season as we all walk together in this journey of discovering new artistes and new talents. It’s going to be full of surprises,” concluded Rady.

Right from artiste selection, wardrobe, makeup and production, Coke Studio Africa works with various partners to ensure that the final show is of high quality and provides a thrilling experience for both artistes and viewers.

Coke Studio Africa is a non-competitive show which seeks to bring together and showcase the diversity of African musical talent. It also gives upcoming artistes the opportunity to work with some of the best local and international music and production talent. It brings together artistes from different genres, eras and regions to create a modern and authentic African sound through musical fusion.
