Campari Group launches global media review

By Abimbola Mohammed

Campari Group, the Italian spirits giant behind brands like Aperol, Campari, SKYY Vodka, and Wild Turkey, has launched a global media review to reassess its media planning and buying strategies across multiple markets.

The incumbent on the business is Group M, with various agencies handling the account in different markets. According to a report on Campaign UK website.

The review covers Campari’s significant media investments, estimated to be part of the $60 billion+ annual spend managed by large agency networks like Group M, though exact figures for Campari alone aren’t specified.

It could be recalled that in 2017, WPP was appointed as Campari’s “preferred global partner” for all advertising and communication services following a competitive pitch. This led to the creation of “Team Campari,” a dedicated unit based in Milan, Italy, to manage Campari’s portfolio of over 50 premium spirits brands.
