ARM uplift stakeholders with Tomorrow is Looking Good
In a bid to add value to its teeming clients and the members of the public and for an assurance of a secured future, Asset and Resource Management Company (ARM), a pension management firm whose duty is to manage clients’ assets with a vision to realising their investment, organised a life changing forum for its clients and prospective customers.
The forum tagged “Tomorrow is Looking Good”held in partnership with Gemstone, a nation builders network, occurred recently at the prestigious MUSON Centre was aimed at engaging clients and other stakeholders by rendering quality service, and also to make positive impact in the society.
In his opening speech, the Managing Director ARM pension, Mr. Wale Odutola said that ARM is committed to making meaningful impacts in the lives of its clients and the society as a whole. “We are here today to engage with our clients and partners and to get feedbacks from where they expected to see improvements in the services being given to them. We also want to interact with them in order to ensure that they are being given quality service delivery. Another important point is an opportunity for our clients to interact and to share ideas with our business partners.
“As financial organisation and a pension fund administrator, our responsibility to finance – be it retirees or active civil servants is to secure their investments and when they retire, we are to ensure that we are able to give back to them in a consistent manner without any hitches and to deliver consistent return of investment, and also to improve the quality of standard of living when they come to retirement,” he explained.
In her address, the Managing Director, Financial Advisory Services, Mrs. Chioma Okigbo, said that ARM organised the forum to channel ways of adding values to its numerous clients, the way in which it hopes that clients would see their lives and how they plan to hand over their wealth to the next generation.
“Our vision and mission is to create wealth opportunities for people who entrusted us with their assets. There are many ways we can go about doing this and one of the ways we have chosen is to create this opportunity, given the circumstances why we came into existence. We want to create this opportunity where people put their money in different forms of investment and in that way if anything happens, your families have some sort of backing.”
She reiterated further; “We create this opportunity in line with our visions and missions to enable our clients and those who trust us with their assets to access those opportunities and be able to improve their plans and the things you want to achieve and still be able to plan for those events that are unseen. One of the ways we are trying to achieve this is through group discussions like this from the investment side and it’s an opportunity today to able to talk to our pension clients, stakeholders, partners and other potential partners who are ready to do business with us in the future, to talk to them about the need to plan and to encourage them to stick to their plans, ensure that the goals they are trying to achieve are met. Also, whatever it is that your deepest desires are, we would work with you to accomplish it.”
The high point of the forum was a highly intellectual and thought provoking motivational speech by the renowned public speaker and founder of Gemstone Network, Mr.Fela Durotoye who spoke on the need to live a lifestyle of leadership and excellence, urged all and sundry to do all within their power to transform the country into a most desirable nation to live in,be conscious of every passing minute of their lives and to prepare for the future.
He postulated ten ideas which he described as “personal creed” for individual development, these are; to make a positive impact on everyone I meet and wherever I go, be a solution provider and not a part of the problem to be solved, be a role model worthy of emulation, be my best in all I do particularly the things I am naturally good at and do the right thing at all times regardless of who is doing the wrong thing. Others include; value time make use of it, care and show respect through my words and actions, consciously build a great legacy starting now, today and every day, live a life of integrity and honour, and lastly make my family, nation and my God proud.
