Air travelers assures of safety as Easter approaches
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has assured air travelers of safety and seamless flight operations as they travel to their various destinations across the country.
The General Manager, Corporate Affairs, FAAN, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu, while reiterating the agency’s commitment to the safety of passengers and airport users, noted that the network of airports are fully prepared and ready for the usual upsurge in passenger traffic at Easter seasons like this.
Yakubu stressed that all the necessary facilities, infrastructure and manpower to ensure seamless facilitation at the airports have been deployed.
In her words:”All the relevant security agencies have been mobilized to beef up security at all airports.”
According to her, the agency encourages passengers to leave for the airport early enough, so as to ensure that check in formalities are conducted in good time.
“FAAN is committed to her core values of safety, security and comfort of all passengers and airport users at all times” Yakubu added.
