ADVAN elects new executives
Advertisers Association of Nigeria, ADVAN on Friday elected new executives as it promised to change its focus from being a pressure group to enabler of growth in advertising industry.
The new executive members would be led by Mr. David Okeme who was elected president. He is the Unilever Brand Building Director.
Mrs. Joan Ihekwaba, the UAC General Manager (Marketing) was elected the first Vice President while Mrs Abimbola Alabi was elected 2nd Vice President. She is the Marketing Manager Eko Supreme Nigeria Ltd.
Mrs Bukunola Ogunnusi is the Toyota PR & Advert Manager and she emerged as the new ADVAN Treasurer while Mr.Sampson Oloche was elected the Publicity Secretary. He is the Marketing Manager Non-Alcoholic drinks, Nigerian Breweries
The Ex-officio members include Mr. Toruka Osadunkwo, the Head Communications, UBA , Mr. Uwubanmwen Osamede, Head Stanbic Corporate and Investment, Marketing and communication and Mr. Ibraheem Awelenje, the Category Manager Cereals Nestle.
