IXPL Limited has officially launched in Nigeria, unveiling iXplore, its flagship lifestyle discovery platform, as part of a broader ambition to develop practical digital solutions for consumers, businesses and public institutions.
The launch was during a media parley held at Radisson Lagos on Friday, October 16, 2026, under the theme “Our Vision. Endless Possibilities.” Notably, it marked the company’s entry into the technology market with a problem-solving approach that combines lifestyle discovery, customised enterprise applications and specialised tools for the marketing communications industry.
Speaking at the event, Owolabi Mustapha, Director, IXPL Limited, said the company was established to move beyond technology development for its own sake by identifying everyday challenges and creating digital solutions that improve lives, strengthen business performance and enhance service delivery.
According to him, discovering where to go, what to experience and which offers are available is the proposition behind the launch, as a lifestyle discovery platform, aimed connecting consumers with venues, activities, events, discounts and membership benefits while helping businesses attract customers.
Again, he added that the platform represents part of IXPL’s wider ambition to develop practical technology solutions for individuals, businesses and public institutions
“IXPL Limited was founded on the understanding that technology should solve real problems, not simply exist for the sake of innovation. We recognised that individuals and businesses face everyday challenges that could be addressed through well-designed digital solutions,” he stated.
Explaining the company’s philosophy, Mustapha said IXPL would focus on identifying specific problems and developing practical technology to simplify processes, improve experiences and create value. He added that the company recognises the distinct needs of different organisations, making customised applications and platforms central to its approach.
“Our purpose is to identify these challenges and build practical technology that makes processes easier, improves experiences, and creates value. We also recognise that every business has unique needs, which is why we develop tailored applications and platforms to help organisations solve their specific problems,” he said.
On its long-term ambition, he said IXPL intended to build a reputation for developing useful and innovative digital solutions, expanding its proprietary products, addressing organisational challenges through customised technology and establishing partnerships that support innovation and growth.
He disclosed that the company had spent more than a year developing its capabilities, testing products and assembling its team. Its operations cover three areas: proprietary platforms addressing everyday challenges, customised business-to-business solutions, and specialised technology tools for the marketing communications industry, where its wider business has operated for almost two decades.
Beyond lifestyle discovery, Mustapha disclosed that IXPL was developing solutions for public health, environmental challenges and electricity-related problems. The company also intends to collaborate with government institutions to deploy technology that improves public services, coordination and service delivery. He also explained that the launch of IXPL Limited has not changed the mother company’s mission in terms of transition from experiential marketing into technology and how the new direction would relate to its existing business. The company explained that the move was intended to create additional opportunities for innovation in response to changing business conditions and consumer needs while retaining the foundations of its established operations.
Through its business-to-business model, IXPL will work with local and multinational organisations to identify operational and commercial challenges and develop applications tailored to their requirements. These solutions could cover marketing, sales, procurement, internal processes and customer engagement. Mustapha said the company would assess each client’s objectives rather than impose a standardised approach.
Similarly, the company’s industry-specific tools will target advertising, experiential and digital businesses, helping them improve efficiency and competitiveness. Mustapha stressed that the technology venture would complement, rather than replace, the group’s established marketing communications operations.
On international expansion, he said Nigeria would serve as the launch market for iXplore, with Johannesburg, Accra, London, Toronto and New York identified as prospective destinations. IXPL hopes to begin launching in these markets within six months.
At the centre of its consumer-facing offering is iXplore, designed to connect users with venues, activities, events, discounts and membership benefits while giving businesses another avenue to showcase their offerings and attract customers.
Distinguishing the platform from conventional navigation applications during the question-and-answer session, Olayiwole Jegede, Director, IXPL Limited, explained that iXplore was not designed simply to direct users to destinations but to help them discover lifestyle and entertainment experiences before deciding where to go.
For instance, Jegede said people planning a Friday night outing with friends or colleagues could use the platform to explore activities and offerings at entertainment venues before leaving home. By making relevant information accessible, iXplore aims to simplify lifestyle planning, connect consumers with participating businesses and improve business visibility.
Addressing adoption and expected impact, Jegede said IXPL had drawn on its team’s experience across different sectors to identify specific challenges it could realistically address rather than attempt to solve every problem across every industry. User feedback, he added, would guide continuous product refinement, while the platform would be free to consumers.
Similarly, Arayi-Ayana Otseoriselaju, Business Lead at IXPL Limited, positioned the company as a link between real-world challenges and technology-driven solutions.
He explained that IXPL specialises in creating digital products, platforms and tailor-made applications to address practical problems, noting that its work extends beyond developing proprietary products to partnering with businesses and organisations to understand their specific difficulties and design technology solutions that meet their unique requirements.
On product reliability and data security, Ayomide Akinola, Software Director and Developer Lead at IXPL Limited, said safeguards had been put in place to protect data and support valid transactions and interactions. He explained that product testing, user feedback and continuous monitoring would inform improvements, while the technical team would address reported issues, respond to complaints and provide updates as necessary.
Meanwhile, Omolayo Ajibola, Product Manager at IXPL Limited, thanked the media, guests, partners and team members for supporting the launch. She described the event as an opportunity to introduce the company’s vision of using technology to solve problems, simplify processes and improve experiences, adding that IXPL was prepared to continue developing solutions with practical benefits for users and businesses.
Expanding on the company’s product roadmap, Ajibola also presented iXplore as IXPL’s flagship digital offering, created to help people identify places to visit, activities to participate in and experiences worth exploring. She explained that the platform would bridge the gap between consumers seeking relevant lifestyle options and businesses or service providers looking to reach prospective customers.
According to her, iXplore is designed to make the search for suitable destinations and experiences more convenient while opening up additional opportunities for businesses to showcase their offerings, engage potential customers and strengthen their market reach.
With its launch establishing IXPL Limited as the technology company and iXplore as its flagship lifestyle discovery platform, the business is setting out to build a portfolio around practical needs rather than technology adoption for its own sake. Its longer-term prospects will depend on how effectively its solutions address real challenges, earn users’ trust and deliver tangible value across Nigeria and the international markets it intends to enter.
