Lagos based marketing and communications agency, Aim One Company, has secured international recognition after emerging as the 2026 Leading Brand Strategy and African Market Entry Consultancy at the African Excellence Awards organised by MEA Markets.

The recognition marks the agency’s first international award since its establishment in 2019 and places its work on brand development and market expansion among the businesses gaining attention across Africa’s increasingly competitive commercial landscape.

According to the organisers, Aim One Company earned the award for its strategy driven approach to helping businesses strengthen their brands while also supporting international organisations seeking to establish a credible foothold in African markets.

The agency operates across brand strategy, creative communications and African market entry advisory, with experience spanning financial services, retail, fast moving consumer goods and faith based organisations.

Beyond commercial assignments, the agency has also expanded its focus to talent development through its Marketing Mentorship Program, a pan African initiative designed to equip marketing professionals with practical industry knowledge and career development opportunities.

The programme has reached professionals across several African markets, including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania. Its second edition, MMP 2.0, brought together 30 marketing professionals from eight countries across West, East and Central Africa, as well as the United Kingdom.

The programme concluded with a Demo Day in Lagos in April 2025, further drawing attention to the growing role of marketing talent and the creative economy in Africa’s business development.

Meanwhile, MEA Markets described the 2026 award recipients as organisations contributing to the transformation of Africa’s business environment across different sectors.

For Aim One Company, the recognition provides another platform to promote the idea that globally competitive brand strategy can be developed within Africa while remaining relevant to businesses operating across international markets.

The agency says the award also reinforces its commitment to helping African businesses build stronger brands and supporting global organisations seeking sustainable entry into the continent’s diverse markets.

As African economies become increasingly connected and competition for consumers intensifies, the recognition highlights the expanding role of strategic marketing, creative communications and local market intelligence in helping businesses navigate the continent’s complex commercial environment.
