EXMAN set to sanitise experiential marketing industry with rate card
The Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) has said it will introduce a rate card for the experiential marketing industry by January 2017 in order to establish uniform rates and bring sanity to the profession.
President of the association, Dr. Rotimi Olaniyan said this at a breakfast seminar organised for members of EXMAN and other stakeholders recently in Lagos. He noted that that it was mandatory for the association to have a rate card, which will regulate charges and uphold professionalism and high ethical standard in the industry.
According to him, the new rate card will be published on the website of the association where the various agencies could access. This move is all part of effort by EXMAN to reposition the industry and make it more professional and profitable.
In the same vein, the association has concluded plans to join Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) and the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) in order to give the association a voice and to demonstrate its influence in the industry.
This will also give EXMAN some statutory muscle to enforce rules within the industry and ensure that those who flout these rules can be punished in accordance with the law.
