StackAdapt, Lyft Media unlock the future of targeted In-App Advertising

By Mofeoluwa Awe

StackAdapt has teamed up with Lyft Media to roll out programmatic, in-app advertising, a move set to reshape how brands reach consumers on the move. This collaboration allows StackAdapt clients to tap into Lyft’s U.S. in-app ad inventory, targeting millions of active riders with hyper-localised ads delivered during key moments of their daily journeys.

The integration also brings Kevel into the mix, whose retail media ad-serving technology enhances StackAdapt’s programmatic capabilities. The trio’s collaboration means advertisers can now access Lyft’s digital formats, including video and poster units, and leverage first-party data to deliver content-rich messages tied to trip intent, whether someone is heading to work, an event, or just out and about.

With over 40 million annual riders, Lyft provides a uniquely mobile and intention-rich audience. This partnership allows brands and agencies to drive awareness and engagement at scale, in a way that blends seamlessly into the rider experience.

“This partnership opens an extraordinary advertising avenue for agencies to engage a mobile, diverse audience”, said Greg Joseph, VP of Inventory Development at StackAdapt.

The move also signals a broader trend in retail and mobility media, where programmatic tools and rich consumer data are combining to create smarter, more personalised ad experiences. As retail media networks continue to grow, this collaboration sets the stage for what could be the next big evolution in localised digital advertising.
