NIPOST begins automation of post offices
According to Postmaster General of the Federation, Dr. Ismail Adewusi, full automation of all post offices in the country had begun.
Adewusi announced this at the opening of a five-day retreat for members of the board and management of the organization in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
He stated that, “Full digitalisation of our operations is key to the quality of services. Automation would check leakages of revenue, aside from enhancing our operations. We are in the process of full automation of all our post offices.” This is very important.
“The new normal has changed the perspective of conducting businesses. NIPOST has formed partnership and collaboration with organisations and government agencies in areas, e-government services for NIPOST to make the post office a one-stop shop to meet the aspirations of our customers.”
