MARKETING EDGE unveils juror members for brands and advertising excellence awards
Preparations for this year’s edition of the annual MARKETING EDGE annual National Marketing Summit & Brands & Advertising Excellence Awards are now on top gear as the publication’s board has announced juror members for the forthcoming awards.
The Jury will be chaired by one of Nigeria’s most celebrated advertising practitioners and CEO of Noah’s Ark, Mr. Lanre Adisa, with members cutting across the various sectors of the Integrated Marketing Communications industry such as: PR, Experiential, Advertising, Digital, and Outdoor, amongst others.
Members of the Jury unveiled yesterday include: Femi Adelusi, CEO BrandEye; Kehinde Salami, CEO Ideas House; Bukola Akingbade, CEO, Nukleus; David Okeme, Chief Commercial Officer, RemitaNet; and Chuddy Oduenyi, Managing Director, Compact Communications.
The decision to adopt the Jury format is one of the many innovations introduced into this year’s National Marketing Summit & Brands & Advertising Awards to strengthen its equity rating, promote transparency in its judging process as well as enhance competitiveness of the award show.
The theme for this year’s summit, as the board disclosed is, “Storytelling in Contemporary Brand Building: Convergence of Creativity and Technology”
The event is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Balmoral Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos.
Commenting about the changes in the award process, Publisher/ CEO of MARKETING EDGE, John Ajayi stated that “the review being undertaken for MARKETING EDGE Awards is in response to the yearnings of industry stakeholders as the yearly creative contest gets bigger and robust.”
Meanwhile, MARKETING EDGE board, which recently announced a review of the award categories, has made a call for entries for various award categories.
According to the organisers, submission for the top of the drawer award can be made either by post, online or direct delivery at MARKETING EDGE office at 11a Fadeyi Aladura Street, Ikeja, Lagos. Entries will no longer be received after April 30, 2019.
