John E. Ehiguese (popularly known as JE) is the Founder/CEO of Mediacraft Associates, Nigeria’s largest PR firm by size (with over 50 full-time employees) and the exclusive

Nigeria affiliate of the FleishmanHillard global PR network.

Before establishing Mediacraft in September 2003, he worked as an Account Director at C&F Porter Novelli (Nigeria), with direct responsibility for co-ordinating PR support for the market roll- out of MTN, Nigeria’s largest telecoms network.

In a career spanning over thirty years, Ehiguese has garnered extensive cross-functional experience in Marketing, Broadcasting, Advertising and Public Relations.

Ehiguese holds an MBA from the Lagos Business School of the Pan Atlantic University, Lagos (2004). In 2013, he obtained a Certificate in Leadership And Governance In Media &

Communications (LGMC) from the School of Media & Communications (SMC) of the Pan Atlantic University (PAU). He is also an alumnus of the IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Barcelona, Spain and the University of Central Lancashire, Preston, UK.

He is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), The Advertising

Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), the PRCA (UK), a Fellow of the African PR Association (APRA) and a Board Member of The International Communications Consultancy Organization (ICCO).

He is also the Immediate Past President of the Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria (PRCAN), the umbrella body of practicing PR consultancy firms in Nigeria.

Ehiguese was awarded the Most Outstanding PR Personality of the Year (2019) and the Lifetime Achievement Award (2021) by LaPRIGA. He was awarded the Most Outstanding PR Practitioner

of the Decade by MARKETING EDGE magazine in 2021, and was inducted into The MARKETING EDGE Hall of Fame (PR) in 2022. He also received the 2022 Industry STAR Award, formerly The Industry Lifetime Award, in the Public Relations category.
