FirstBank hosts digital empowerment seminar
First Bank Nigeria Limited, Nigeria’s foremost bank has organized a virtual seminar designed to promote personal branding through the digital space. The leading financial inclusion services provider, in conjunction with “Grow With Google”, a digital skills hub powered by Google, held the virtual event themed “Build your Personal Brand and apply for jobs”.
Commenting on the event on its LinkedIn page, the foremost bank said:”Digital footprint and presence is becoming increasingly to potential employers. It is therefore important that one showcases their abilities and experiences in the best possible way”
The virtual session was designed to provide the teeming population of Nigeria’s unemployed and unemployable youths with digital skills especially at this critical time of a digital economy
The virtual session exposed attendees to the concept of digital footprint and provided guidance on how to build a strong personal brand online. This initiative is part of the series of laudable initiatives by Nigeria’s premier bank to support the recovery of Nigeria’s economy in this period of recession
