ALCATEL’S water and dust resistant GO PLAY hits Nigerian market
ALCATEL, one of the world’s fastest-growing smartphone brands, has introduced the GO PLAY smartphone into the Nigerian market. The phone is always ready for action as its ruggedness allows users to take pictures underwater and drop it from a height of 1.5 metres without fear of damage.
Fitted with a Viewme app, the phone allows users to record whatever is onscreen, with the possibility of adding an image and comments. It is also great for use in recording comments to favourite tracks or showing live reactions while gaming. Other pre-embedded apps like Periscope, Vine and Zello make sharing easy.
GO PLAY comes in eight colours to appeal to any taste: dark gray, dark red, dark green, orange blue, pink, lime green, blue and orange. There are splash resistant headsets and protective cases to match GO PLAY too.
The smartphone extends playtime with 20 days of standby time, 8.5 hours of talk time and 40 hours music playback thanks to the powerful 2500 mAH battery.
Nick Imudia, Regional Director, Nigeria and Central Africa at ALCATEL describes the ALCATEL GO PLAY as the phone for the adventurous in spirit. He said: “At times, you just want to engage in activities without any worries about damaging your phone. GO PLAY is that phone that supports your adventurous spirit. A lot of work has gone into making it your phone companion and we are proud to guarantee that consumers will be overwhelmed by its performance.”
