Tecno unveils the future with new AI & Ecosystem smartphone lineup

Tecno has once again demonstrated its commitment to innovation with the launch of its latest AI-powered ecosystem and smartphone lineup. The much-anticipated unveiling took place in Lagos, Nigeria, where tech enthusiasts and industry experts gathered to witness Tecno’s newest advancements in mobile technology.

At the core of this launch is the Tecno AI & Ecosystem, designed to enhance productivity with cutting-edge features such as Real-Time Call Translation, an AI Writing Text Generator, AI Proofreading, Report Generation, Real-Time Information Search, and a Smart Photo Editor. Alongside this, Tecno introduced several new smartphone series equipped with these AI-driven features. Among them is the Spark 30 series and Camon 30 series, which come packed with impressive specifications, including 256GB ROM, 16GB RAM, a 5750mAh Aircell Battery, a 32MP front camera, and a triple camera system featuring 50MP Main, Portrait, and Wide Cameras. These devices are not only powerful but also lightweight, weighing just 249g and folding to a slim 5.5mm.

Additionally, Tecno introduced the Phantom V Fold2, a foldable smartphone featuring a 5-lens camera system, optimized for ultra-clear low-light photography and professional-grade portraits. With its 120Hz display, a robust 5750mAh battery, and 70W ultra-charge technology, the Phantom V Fold2 is designed for all-day use while delivering a premium user experience.

For professionals, Tecno also launched the Megabook T16 series laptop, equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors, advanced cooling systems, and a large battery to ensure top-tier performance. These devices leverage the ELLA AI Assistant, which offers features such as AI-generated text, creative tools like AI Art Board, AI Writing, and real-time live translation, making them ideal for productivity and creativity.

Chidi Okonkwo, Managing Director of Transsion Holdings Nigeria, emphasized the significance of the event, stating, “The technology we unveil today represents not just a product launch but a commitment to innovation and progress, bringing the future closer and eliminating the digital divide.”

The launch event itself was a showcase of Tecno’s technological prowess, hosted by prominent industry figures such as Miss Techy and featuring live demonstrations from experts like Ola Tunde Shobajo of Valor Premier Tech, Ezzy Boye of Premier Tech Authority, and Vincent Okonkwo, Tecno Nigeria’s retail manager. Attendees were treated to hands-on demonstrations of the new devices, as well as engaging discussions about the role of Tecno in shaping the future of the smartphone industry.

The audience responded enthusiastically, particularly impressed by the sleek designs, powerful performance, and competitive pricing of the new devices. Notably, the Spark 30 Pro 256GB+8GB was priced at ₦280,000, while the 128GB+8GB model was priced at ₦247,000. The Camon 30S Pro was launched at ₦387,000, offering premium features at an affordable price point.
