Ogunwale Oluwasinmidele takes on role as Brand Manager for Rice and Homecare at TGI Group

In a move aimed at strengthening its marketing team, TGI Group, a prominent conglomerate, has appointed Ogunwale Oluwasinmidele John as its new Brand Manager for Rice and Home Care.
Formerly a Brand Manager for Korect Bitters and Regal at Grand Oak Limited, John brings over six years of expertise in marketing strategy, consumer planning, and research.
At Grand Oak Limited, he played a pivotal role in steering the growth of brands like Korect Bitters , Regal Dry Gin, Swagga, Apperito, and Calypso in Nigeria. His responsibilities included developing brand strategies, implementing new channel initiatives, and overseeing the profit and loss operations for the brands.
Before joining TGI Group, John served as the Assistant Brand Manager at The Place, contributing significantly to the successful launch of five restaurants and executing impactful marketing campaigns. Notable achievements during this time include the launch of a low-budget meal, boosting brand social media standing, and successfully implementing tactical radio campaigns.
Prior to his tenure at The Place, John held the position of Marketing Manager at TINK AFRICA, where he played a crucial role in brand development, marketing communications, and customer experience design. His professional journey also includes valuable sales and business experiences at FCMB, Sellmedia Group, Awesome Communications, and ADVAN, among others.
Ogunwale Oluwasinmidele John is known for transforming marketing strategies into actionable plans, driving successful solutions in every role he undertakes. His academic background includes earning a Professional Certificate from the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) in 2017 and a B.Sc. in Economics from Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria.
