Cognitio Nigeria expands business offerings

…We are growing our business through competitive solutioning, says Cognitio Boss

The Managing Partner of Cognitio Limited, Mr. Sam Osunsoko, has stated that the agency will be expanding its business by offering truly cutting-edge brand solutions for its clients.

Osunsoko added that the organization will be offering newly enhanced digital solutions in addition to what is currently on offer to the business of its clients.

Disclosing this to MARKETING EDGE during an exclusive interview, he pointed out that the company’s projection for 2019 was to reinforce its creative solutions credentials and expand its business on this basis.

According to him, “Cognitio in Latin is synonymous with ideas that emanate from deep-seated knowledge and understanding of the issues. The agency strives to elicit superior insights that are precursors to great creative output. This explains why the Agency’s work will always result in competitive solutions to the clients’ problems.”

In his words “We are basically expanding our portfolio of offerings, we are offering some new digital solutions in addition to what we currently offer and those will come in terms of not just social and mobile, but in terms of data analytics, content and influencer marketing.

While stating that 2019 is going to be a challenging year for most businesses, he noted that the year will also offer opportunities for growth, especially for innovative and market-driven firms.

In his words: “If you look at the different projections from economists and other financial experts regarding what 2019 holds, it’s clear that it’s going to be a very interesting year. There are huge opportunities within the year as well as a number of challenges but the way we have structure our business is such that we will be able to leverage the opportunities that exist within the larger economy and within the marketing communications industry  in particular and we believe that it is going to be a very good year for us once we are able to fully implement our strategies.”

Speaking on the performance of brands, he noted that the last few years have seen the emergence of strong Nigerian brands that have created deep emotional connections with targets.

He equally posited that, increasingly, the media mix will continue to witness aggressive dilution against the traditional media and in favour of new and emerging media as consumers lifestyle, tastes and media consumption habits evolve.

Sam believes that starting from 2019, the industry will begin to witness the emergence of what has hitherto not been considered as media into major media vehicles.
