LIA announces 2021 Inaugural Transformative Business Impact Jury

London International Awards (LIA) has announced its 2021 Inaugural Transformative Business Impact Jury.

In a statement, LIA said: “This year we introduced the Transformative Business Impact competition, to recognize that creativity does not just live within campaigns, it now plays an influential role in the enduring transformation of businesses including their operations, services, products, internal experiences and customer experiences. This medium doesn’t just recognize work that promotes solutions to customers; it recognizes the solutions themselves.”

Commenting, Barbara Levy, LIA President, said: “Most businesses have had to pivot in the past year. Creativity has extended to more than just ideas and solutions. As this is our inaugural Transformative Business Impact jury, I am sure this jury, under Adrian Mills, will light the beacon for others in the years to come.”

“This category is important to me, because I deeply believe that the creative class is capable of making its greatest impact when brought in to solve the root business problem, and not engaged only to communicate someone else’s solution, stated Adrian Mills, LIA Jury President and Lead Partner, Creative Brand Advertising at Deloitte Digital.

He went on to say, “I strongly feel that business and government are missing a trick when they fail to value creativity in the way that we know it should be valued.

Therefore, my great hope is that the work that wins in this category can inspire corporate leaders to elevate the importance of creativity and creative people in their businesses more broadly. Winning work should open hearts and minds to a new way of problem solving that recognises the power and joy in the lateral above the linear. When that happens, everyone wins.”
