PRCAN set to hold third edition of webinar series

The Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria (PRCAN) is set to hold its third edition of webinar series, slated for Monday 15th, November 2021, from 3:00pm to 4:30pm via Zoom.

Making this known via its Instagram handle, PRCAN said the Speaker for the event is Professor Olayinka David-West, Associate Dean, Lagos Business School. The theme of the event is “Big Data: Framing and Executing Winning Communications Strategy with the Power of Insight”.

Mrs. David-West is a Professor of Information Systems with almost three decades’ experience in the IT and financial services industry and is a passionate advocate of digital transformation and inclusive finance. Her research and practice engagements involve policy and strategic management interventions towards digitally transformed businesses and society.

Professor David-West also is Associate Dean at the Lagos Business School (LBS), the premier business school in Nigeria and sits on the school’s Management Board. She leads the Sustainable and Inclusive Digital Financial Services (SIDFS) initiative, a research and advocacy initiative dedicated to enhancing financial inclusion in Nigeria.

She has expert certifications in financial inclusion policy and digital money, is a governing council member of the Fintech Association of Nigeria and a member of the African Women in Finance and Payments. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), and the academic advocate to the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). She is also a qualified practitioner of the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA).

The Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria (PRCAN) is a trade sectoral group for the public relations industry in Nigeria. Founded in 1984, PRCAN aggregates and articulates the interest of member firms and works to uphold best practice in public relations in Nigeria in the areas of standards, conduct as well as economic well-being for the public relations industry generally and public relations consulting in particular for the benefit of all stakeholders.
